We Travel The World, So You Don’t Have To…

The quest for beauty, perfect stones, and unique treasures has taken Pandora’s owners well beyond Idaho and the United States. On their trip to India, they visited Cochin (in the south of the country). There they met with a famous jewelry designer, named Shamla. Shamla created the beautiful Rain Drops necklace (displayed below) from a multitude of semi-precious stones.

Besides going to Cochin, no trip to India is complete without a visit to the Taj Mahal, one of the seventh wonders of the world. Their travels continued to Jaipur, the Pink City renowned for its semiprecious stones; followed by Hyderabad, a city known for most beautiful pearls in the world.

The Pandora’s team has also made a few journeys to Shanghai, China. Shanghai is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the country, and the home of some of the best markets in the world. The Pandora’s team also climbed the Great Wall of China and visited the markets of Beijing, the city which hosted the Olympic Games of 2008.

In the spring of 2009, Pandora’s team went on search of new markets to Istanbul, Turkey. As a result of this trip, we now carry museum replicas of Byzantine and Ottoman style jewelry.

Yvonne and Katherine traveled to Bangkok Thailand in November of 2009. They returned with several new types of apparel and Baubles, as well as a huge selection of Thai Silver and other beads.

These are just a few of the exotic and distant locations Pandora seeks out to find her customers the most unique custom-made jewelry, beads, findings, and collectibles from around the globe.
